About

Lourdes Ibarra, LPC

I’m passionate about providing therapy because it’s an incredibly rewarding field—watching individuals regain confidence in themselves and move forward with resilience is what inspires me every day.

My fascination with psychology and how the mind works started early on, and over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients navigate life’s challenges and emerge stronger. I find it amazing how resilient people can be, even in the face of deep pain or trauma.

I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience working with diverse populations. Outside of therapy, I enjoy cooking, staying active, and playing sports when I have the time. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered on their path toward healing.

Lourdes Ibarra, Licensed Professional Counselor

Telehealth Therapy Method

My approach in therapy is based on a research-based perspective that the brain is constantly trying to heal itself. The beautiful thing about our brain is that there is hope for healing--- even if we go through inevitable difficulties in our lives, we can indeed recover, but sometimes we need a little bit of help to move forward. I am here to help you with your journey of healing and growing as a person.

Life can be unpredictable and can bring us to places that we may not know how to handle. I can help you strengthen your potential and abilities to allow you to feel equipped and have a better sense of self. I use a combination of evidence-based therapy practices, such as Mindfulness, CBT, and EMDR therapy, for those who need to process past trauma.

Asking for help can be at times outside of our comfort zone, therefore, I am here to support you with any questions that you may have. This is a non-judgmental, safe space to talk about any concerns or hesitations.

Good Faith Estimate You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who donʼt have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any nonemergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (615) 988-4763.
